Great Hill Partners Ranks No. 3 on the 2025 HEC Paris-Dow Jones Upper Mid-Market Performance Ranking

Great Hill Partners, a private equity firm that invests in high-growth, disruptive companies, today announced it has been ranked No. 3 on the 2025 HEC Paris-Dow Jones Upper Mid-Market Performance Ranking. The annual list evaluated 695 private equity firms and 1,439 funds raised between 2012 and 2021, with an aggregate equity volume of $2.5 trillion, to identify the top 20 performing firms in the upper mid-market buyout segment.

This recognition highlights Great Hill’s consistent focus on value creation in the middle-market and is the fifth consecutive year the firm has ranked in the top 5 on HEC Paris-Dow Jones' global performance lists.

The HEC Paris-Dow Jones Private Equity Performance Ranking is a quantitative performance ranking that evaluates firms based on a combination of Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Distributions to Paid-In Capital (DPI), and Total Value to Paid-In Capital (TVPI) data, with performance assessed both as absolute values and measured against appropriate benchmarks.
