The Caliber family of automotive repair and service brands, including Caliber Collision, Caliber Auto Glass and Caliber Fleet Solutions, today announced the appointment of Max Sorensen to Chief Client Officer, reinforcing the company’s commitment to deepening client relationships and delivering a best-in-class experience across its national network. He will report directly to Todd Dillender, Chief Operating Officer.
In his new role, Max will lead Caliber’s enterprise client strategy, focusing on strengthening partnerships, enhancing collaboration, and elevating the end-to-end experience for clients and customers alike. He will be responsible for aligning client engagement with operational excellence to drive mutual growth and long-term value creation.
“Max’s client-first mindset and ability to translate operational excellence into meaningful partner outcomes make him uniquely suited for this role,” said Todd Dillender, Chief Operating Officer. “He has a deep understanding of our clients’ evolving needs and a strong track record of building relationships that drive shared success. We are confident in his ability to further strengthen our partnerships and elevate the client experience across Caliber while driving mutual growth.”
Max brings more than 22 years of industry and operational experience, along with a proven ability to build trusted relationships and deliver results. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Caliber Collision’s Northeast region, where he played a key role in developing strong client partnerships and advancing performance across a critical market. Max has been a consistent champion for talent development, helping to create the Technician Apprentice Program (TAP) — a structured learning environment designed to bring new talent into the collision industry and set aspiring technicians on a path to long-term career success.
“I’m honored to step into this role at such a pivotal time for our industry,” said Max Sorensen. “Our clients are navigating increasing complexity, and they need partners who can combine strong relationships with innovative solutions. I look forward to strengthening those partnerships, accelerating our capabilities, and delivering connected, high-quality experiences that support our clients’ growth and the customers we collectively serve.”
The appointment underscores Caliber’s strategic focus on investing in leadership, digital capabilities, and scalable solutions that enhance client collaboration and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across every touchpoint. By prioritizing strong partnerships and a seamless customer experience, Caliber continues to differentiate itself as a trusted partner within the automotive repair ecosystem.
