MyDriverParis Launches Open-Source MCP Server Enabling AI Agents to Book Chauffeur Services Autonomously

By: Get News

Paris, France - In a move that signals a major shift in how transportation services are accessed, MyDriverParis has launched the first open-source MCP (Model Context Protocol) server in the private chauffeur industry. The innovation allows AI agents to autonomously search, book, and pay for rides — eliminating the need for human interaction entirely.

The breakthrough moment came when an AI agent successfully booked a chauffeur in Paris on behalf of a corporate traveler — without a single human click. That single transaction prompted the company to fully embrace what it calls the “agent economy.”

Now live and publicly available on GitHub, the MCP server enables AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini to complete an entire booking flow through simple conversation.

A Fully Conversational Booking Experience

With the new system, users can simply ask their AI assistant something like: “Get me a car from CDG to the 8th arrondissement on Friday at 9 AM.” From there, the AI agent handles everything — from real-time pricing and vehicle selection to secure payment processing.

The experience is powered by four core MCP tools:

  • Fleet lookup
  • Fare calculation
  • Payment session creation
  • Service information retrieval

Pricing remains fully transparent, matching rates listed on the company’s official platform with no additional AI-driven markup or hidden fees.

Seamless Infrastructure, Built for Scale

Behind the scenes, the system integrates multiple technologies to deliver a frictionless experience. A WordPress-based API supplies real-time fleet and pricing data, while payments are securely processed via Stripe. Once a booking is confirmed, a webhook instantly triggers the ride within Zeplan — the company’s proprietary dispatch system — ensuring both the operations team and the customer receive immediate confirmation.

Security remains a top priority. Each request is authenticated through dedicated API keys and cryptographic signatures, ensuring that sensitive user data is never directly handled by AI agents.

Driving the Agent Economy Forward

“The next wave of commerce won’t happen on websites — it will happen inside conversations,” the MyDriverParis team said in a statement. “We built this because our clients’ AI assistants needed a way to act on their behalf. So we gave them one.”

By releasing the MCP server as open-source, MyDriverParis is inviting developers, enterprises, and AI builders to explore, adapt, and integrate the system into their own platforms. Every endpoint, tool, and integration is fully inspectable and customizable.

What’s Next

The company has already outlined its roadmap for future enhancements, including:

  • Live ride tracking via MCP
  • In-conversation booking modifications
  • Expanded enterprise integrations

These features aim to further embed transportation services into AI-driven workflows, making autonomous booking not just possible — but standard.
