About the Author
Hector M. Rodriguez is an author, geologist, environmental advocate, educator, and former Army terrain intelligence officer whose career has been dedicated to protecting and improving the Earth’s future. As a young geologist, he helped pioneer policies designed to protect groundwater from leaking storage tanks and later spent decades contributing to environmental policy and strategy at some of the United States’ most sensitive Department of Energy facilities. A self-described “disruptive boomer,” Rodriguez combines technical expertise, historical curiosity, and a commitment to future generations throughout his writing. His books span multiple genres, including mystery, historical fiction, speculative fiction, and philosophical storytelling.
Rodriguez’s modern writing journey began after a 2016 pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago with his teenage son renewed his desire to tell the stories he had carried for decades.
