LAS VEGAS - Oct. 2, 2026 - PRLog -- ASAP Security announced that John Perdichizzi has received a Chief's Letter of Commendation from the City of Las Vegas Department of Public Safety, recognizing his dedication, volunteer service and continued commitment to the Las Vegas community.
Signed by Chief Jason Potts, the letter honors Perdichizzi's contributions as an original member of the Department of Public Safety's Volunteer Program and a graduate of its second Citizens' Police Academy. Since the volunteer program was established in November 2025, Perdichizzi contributed 121.5 documented volunteer hours through August 31, 2026.
His service has supported community outreach events, Citizens' Police Academy alumni engagement, department social media efforts and the grand opening of The Uniform Vault. He has also represented the department at events with public safety partners, including TSA canine decoy training.
The commendation recognizes Perdichizzi's professional background in security and crime prevention, noting the insight he brings through his participation on the Chief's Citizens Advisory Board and his involvement with the Las Vegas Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association.
The letter also highlights his creative approach to community engagement. As one of the few volunteers certified to wear the Justice the Eagle mascot uniform, Perdichizzi helps the department connect with children and families at outreach events. His custom 3D-printed items, including Justice the Eagle figurines, have provided another way to build memorable connections with community members.
For ASAP Security, the recognition reflects a commitment to protecting and serving the community that extends beyond its daily work with local homes and businesses.
