Vontier Corporation (NYSE: VNT), a leading global provider of critical technologies and solutions to connect, manage and scale the mobility ecosystem, today announced the sale of its Global Traffic Technologies, LLC (GTT) business to Miovision for $107 million, representing a transaction value of approximately 10X 2022 EBITDA.
“This transaction is another example of our continued commitment to transforming our portfolio, focused on delivering smart, sustainable solutions to lead the evolution of the mobility ecosystem, while driving top-tier financial performance for our shareholders,” said Mark Morelli, President and Chief Executive Officer. “As part of our disciplined capital allocation approach, we expect to deploy the net proceeds toward future debt reduction and share repurchase.”
GTT reported 2022 revenue of approximately $40 million. Financial results for the GTT business will be included in Vontier’s financials for the full quarter ending March 31, 2023 and will be excluded from continuing operations as of the completion date. The transaction closed on April 14, 2023.
