Darway has been instrumental in the development and execution of the company’s strategic vision as the firm has grown to become the leading contractor of its kind in the Western United States and beyond. Darway has served as executive vice president, construction, since 2023 where he focused on aligning sales and operations teams to allow the expansion of ACCO’s core market geographic footprint along with the company’s successful pursuit and execution of multiple mega projects located throughout the United States. These accomplishments resulted in a doubling of the construction group’s revenue over the past three years.

Darway will lead the day-to-day operations of the company, while Jeff Marrs who served as both President and CEO since 2017, will continue to serve as CEO and now Chairman of the Board.

“I am deeply honored and humbled by the Board’s appointment of me to the President role and appreciative of the solid foundation that Jeff has put in place. I look forward to continuing our core market expansion, strengthening relationships with the building owners we serve, supporting the expansion of our controls group, and the enhancement of our Mega Project capabilities,” said Darway. “Our team is unparalleled in the industry, and I am committed to supporting them in our sustained success.”

In his 23 years at ACCO, Darway has served in many roles within the organization and his deep understanding of commercial construction processes and principles of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) systems allowed him to steadily move through multiple roles in engineering, project management and sales leadership to his first corporate role as executive vice president, corporate operations in 2020. He leveraged his deep understanding of the company’s culture and processes to make significant improvements to ACCO’s operational components.

“Chuck has proven himself best suited for this role as he cares deeply about ACCO's people, stays laser focused on the company's success and leads with integrity, reflecting our core values,” said Jeff Marrs, CEO. “I am extremely proud of what he has accomplished, and I have full confidence he will excel as president.”
