The new Latin American location will support US and regional clients with DevOps and cloud engineering services, closing the time zone gap that has long been a challenge in cross-continental collaboration.

Agiliway, a software development and engineering services company, has announced the opening of a new office in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The expansion marks the company’s first location in Latin America and is a direct response to growing demand from clients across the Americas who need engineering support in a compatible time zone.

Sergiy Korniyenko, CEO and Co-Founder of Agiliway, on why the company decided to expand to Latin America:

“Expanding into Latin America has been part of our thinking for some time. Buenos Aires gave us the right combination of technical talent and geographic alignment with our clients in the US and across the region. This decision is about being where our clients need us to be.”

Argentina has become one of the most active technology markets in Latin America over the past decade, and Buenos Aires sits at the center of that growth. The city has a well-established engineering community, a long track record of collaboration with international companies, and a workforce that is already comfortable working within distributed, cross-border team structures.

For Agiliway, those conditions made Buenos Aires a practical choice. The goal was not to experiment with a new market but to put experienced engineers in a location where they can work alongside existing teams in the US, Poland, and Ukraine.

DevOps and Cloud Engineering at the Core

The Buenos Aires team is being built with a specific focus on DevOps and cloud engineering. Demand for this type of expertise has grown steadily among Agiliway’s client base, particularly among companies running complex cloud environments that require ongoing infrastructure support, automation, and modern delivery pipelines.

The new team will work directly on client projects alongside Agiliway’s engineers in other locations, rather than operating as a standalone unit. That integration is intentional as consistency of standards and communication across locations has been central to how Agiliway delivers work.

What This Means for Clients

For clients in the Americas, the most immediate change is time zone alignment. Working hours that previously overlapped by only a few hours – or not at all – will now be largely shared. For clients with active DevOps needs, the expanded team means more capacity and continuity.
