A Career Defined by Trial Litigation and Family Law Specialization

The Certified Family Law Specialist designation is awarded by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and recognizes attorneys who have demonstrated advanced knowledge, substantial trial experience, and ongoing education in California family law. Santoro earned the CFLS designation in 2015 after years of focused practice in divorce, child custody, child support, and domestic violence litigation, and he has continued to deepen that expertise in the decade since.

His career has been defined by courtroom work. Santoro began his practice as an associate at three respected San Diego family law offices, then opened his own practice in La Mesa, where for nearly a decade he served as a trial litigator engaged by family law firms throughout California. He later served as a Managing Attorney for Family Law Litigation in Riverside, where he recruited, hired, trained, and supervised six family law attorneys and oversaw client representation across four California counties. From 2022 to 2024, Santoro served as a Family Law Consultant, training and mentoring family law attorneys statewide and conducting weekly case reviews. He has also presented to fellow practitioners on the proper and improper use of experts in domestic violence matters.
