Critical step in improving transparency and resuming trading on NASDAQ
The Board of Directors and Management of SINOVAC Biotech Ltd. (NASDAQ: SVA) (“SINOVAC” or the “Company”), a leading provider of biopharmaceutical products in China, today announced that the Audit Committee of the Board has approved the engagement of UHY LLP (“UHY”) headquartered in the U.S. as its independent auditor and registered public accounting firm, effective today, October 24, 2025. UHY is a U.S. member of Urbach Hacker Young International Limited (UHY International), a UK company, and forms part of the international UHY network of legally independent accounting and consulting firms.
As a matter of priority, UHY will work with SINOVAC’s management team and the Board’s Audit Committee to audit financial statements for the years ended December 31, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 (including audits of internal control over financial reporting as of December 31, 2024 and 2025), and interim reviews for the six-month periods ended June 30, 2024 and 2025. The Company plans to file Form 20Fs and Form 6-Ks as soon as practicable in order to meet SEC and NASDAQ compliance requirements.
