Stuart, Florida pressure washing company documents broken roof tiles, failed repairs and telltale damage left behind by improper roof-cleaning methods

STUART, Fla. - Oct. 1, 2026 - PRLog -- Titan Pressure Washing is showing Treasure Coast homeowners what can happen when a tile roof is cleaned or serviced using improper equipment, techniques or repair methods.

In a recent roof inspection, the veteran and family-owned company documented extensive existing damage across a Florida tile roof, including broken and cracked tiles, failed patchwork repairs, exposed fastener holes, remnants of previous tarping and repeated half-moon-shaped fractures visible throughout several sections of the roof.

Those distinctive half-moon breaks are consistent with damage that can occur when a rotating surface cleaner contacts fragile roof tiles.

The project offers homeowners a close look at why roof cleaning requires a different approach than cleaning driveways, sidewalks or other hard exterior surfaces.

Unlike concrete and pavers, roof tiles can be vulnerable to cracking, impact damage and unnecessary stress from heavy equipment or improper foot traffic.

Before beginning work, Titan carefully evaluates roof conditions and uses access techniques designed to minimize additional damage.

"We do not use equipment on the roof," the Titan team explains in the video while documenting the existing damage. "Before we ever get on the roof, we walk the ridge caps so we don't incur any damage."

During the inspection, the team identifies numerous previous repairs and damaged areas, including gray patching material, broken tiles and sections where prior repair attempts had failed.

Some fastener openings along the ridge cap were also left exposed, while remnants of tarp material and nails remained on portions of the roof.

The goal of the inspection was not simply to point fingers, but to document the roof's condition and help the homeowner understand what needed professional attention before additional exterior cleaning took place.

The project reflects what Titan calls The Titan Difference:
  • We call back.
  • We show up.
  • We do it right.
